معلومات عامة

“I treat conditions related to the urinary tract system in both men and women. For men, common conditions include benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, and urological cancers such as kidney cancer, ureteral cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. I also treat men’s health issues, including erectile dysfunction and penile prosthesis implantation. For women, I address urinary issues such as frequent urination, urinary incontinence, and urine leakage when coughing or sneezing, often due to pelvic floor muscle weakness.”

Education and inspiration

Dr. Peeradon earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University. He then pursued a Diploma in Urological Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Rajavithi Hospital. Reflecting on his path into the field, he shared:

“My sister is a doctor, and she was one of my inspirations. Once I began clinical rotations, I found myself especially interested and skilled in urological surgery. I was fortunate to have mentors who were experts in this field. Urology fascinated me because it’s so diverse—not just surgery, but also medical treatments, endoscopic procedures, and minimally invasive surgeries. That’s when I decided to specialize in urological surgery.”

Expertise in erectile dysfunction treatment and penile prosthesis surgery

In addition to treating various urinary tract conditions, Dr. Peeradon is highly skilled in managing male sexual health, especially erectile dysfunction (ED). He explained:

“When a man has ED, we must first identify the root cause, as treatment options vary. It may start with lifestyle modifications, medications, or vacuum devices to induce erection. In more advanced cases—especially when nerve damage has occurred due to certain conditions—we may recommend surgical penile prosthesis implantation. This device replaces the natural erectile mechanism and restores function with a similar sensation but improved rigidity.”

Dr. Peeradon performs these surgeries efficiently using safe, durable implants and advanced surgical techniques, which help ensure the prosthesis lasts 10–15 years. The treatment effectively addresses ED and helps improve quality of life and intimacy in relationships.

Treating female urinary conditions

For women, common urological issues include abnormal urination, incontinence, frequent urination, and urine leakage during coughing or sneezing—often caused by pelvic floor muscle prolapse.

“Most cases are treated with medication, but for severe pelvic floor weakening, surgical intervention may be needed to reposition the urethra and prevent further leakage.”

Personalized treatment plans

Dr. Peeradon believes in providing individualized care, taking the time to understand every detail and never underestimating any case.

“I always approach each case with full attention and care, treating every patient as if their condition is the most complex. This helps avoid mistakes and ensures thorough treatment planning.”

“During treatment discussions, I make sure to provide patients with all available options—medications, surgical methods, techniques, their advantages and disadvantages—so they can make informed decisions. Even if two patients have the same condition, it doesn’t mean they need the same treatment. Personalized care is key.”

He spends time consulting with patients openly and sincerely, helping them reach decisions that suit their needs and lifestyles. This open communication builds trust and leads to more effective treatment outcomes.
