Therefore, early eye care for children, such as breastfeeding, ensuring a complete and sufficient diet, and protecting their eyes from blue light—which is believed to be harmful to the retina—is important. Blue light can be found in many places, such as bright sunlight, computer screens, or light bulbs. Most importantly, parents should take their children for eye check-ups at appropriate ages, which is the best approach,” said Dr. Rattiya.
