Some studies show that frequently use low radiation for x-ray procedure especially for checking and treating disease in risk group might help detecting the cancer as well. However, there is no official conclusion on this, because the test is not precise which mean the patient might have to take the risk from an unnecessary surgery  such as lung operation for parasite detection.
