<li style="">Heat Stroke is a condition where the body temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius along with neurological symptoms, especially changes in body awareness such as drowsiness, confusion, and sometimes seizures and loss of consciousness.</li>
Symptoms: High body temperature over 40 degrees Celsius causes fatigue, loss of appetite, headache. Some cases have no sweating, low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, and the body cannot adjust, leading to delirium, convulsions, and loss of consciousness.
Treatment: If a heat stroke patient is found, immediately take them to a shaded area, lay them flat on the ground with feet elevated to improve blood circulation, loosen clothing, and apply cold water or ice packs to the body or spray water mist all over the body to reduce body temperature as quickly as possible, then rush to the hospital.
Self-care: Drink plenty of water and rest adequately. Avoid exercising or staying outdoors for long periods. Wear light-colored, breathable, and loose-fitting clothing.
<li style="">Heat Rash is a group of skin diseases caused by stimulation from ultraviolet (UV) light in sunlight and heat from sweat.</li>
Symptoms: Exposure to the sun causes red rashes on the skin, itching, and red bumps on the body similar to severe prickly heat when the skin is exposed to sunlight.
Treatment: See a doctor and use topical medication to reduce inflammation of the rash.
Self-care: Avoid staying outdoors for long periods, use an umbrella, or wear a hat to protect from the sun.
<li style="">Heat Cramps occur due to heat causing the body to lose water and electrolytes, resulting in cramps. It can happen to people working outdoors, overexercising, or even those who do not exercise much.</li>
Symptoms: Similar to general cramps, muscles twitch, contract, and feel painful or sore in the cramping area, usually found in the calves, legs, and arms.
Treatment: When cramps occur, try to stay still and drink water to replenish lost fluids and electrolytes. If symptoms do not improve within half an hour, see a doctor immediately.
Self-care: Avoid exercising or doing strenuous activities for 2-3 hours, drink fruit juice or electrolyte drinks, and stay in well-ventilated areas.
<li style="">Heat Exhaustion occurs when exposed to extreme heat, causing the body to fail to adjust quickly, leading to rapid dehydration.</li>
Symptoms: Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dizziness, and muscle aches, with severity less than heat stroke.
 Treatment: If the body temperature is too high, apply cold water or ice packs to the body or spray water mist all over the body to reduce body temperature.
 Self-care: Avoid staying outdoors for long periods, use an umbrella, or wear a hat to protect from the sun.
<li style="">Diarrhea is caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites from contaminated food and drinks.</li>
Symptoms: Low-grade fever, cold symptoms, nausea, loose stools at least 3 times or watery stools, or stools with mucus and blood at least once within 24 hours.
Treatment: Usually recovers within 7 days. Take symptomatic medication such as anti-nausea and abdominal pain relief. Drink oral rehydration solutions to replace lost fluids and electrolytes. If symptoms do not improve, see a doctor promptly.
Self-care: Eat cooked food, drink clean water, buy food from reliable sources, wash hands frequently, and use serving spoons when eating with others.
