Food is the most imperative thing to be concerned after the procedure since chemotherapy allows the chemical to destroy or inhibit the bad cells from growing fast in the body at the same time it includes the number of white blood cells that respond to eliminate pathogens or virus. As a result, the body immune system will be weak ; for that reason, here are list of specific foods which should be eaten and avoided as follows:

Recommended Food

      • Foods that are high in protein such as meat, fish, milk and boiled eggs these are food that are source of protein which can be found easily with a cheap price; the protein is important in building up the cells that are destroyed which a doctor will have to recommend a proper amount of intaking for each patient.
      • Buying food from a shop or a place where it is authentic for good hygene.
      • – Drink more water as much as possible to support the kidneys and drive out chemical substance of chemotherapy from the body .

Food that should be avoided

Patients may only have just small meals by dividing them into 5 or 6 meals with small amount to make the body receive nutrients for energy boost for that reason it can be ready for chemotherapy treatment of the next time; patients have to keep doing it until the program is completed.

    1. Beware of side effects!

Side effects from chemotherapy can occur depending on the location and how the cancer starts, such as cancer in the colon that imay cause diarrhea or lung cancer that has its side effects of breathing difficulty which all occur based on the location of a disease.

The most common side effects of chemotherapy include dizziness, nausea, vomiting and low amount of white blood cells causing lower immunity so patients are easily get sick.

A doctor will prescribe medication to prevent side effects that may occur to the pateints, the nedication only relieves the symptoms. If taking the medicine, the side effects are still not improved it is very imperative to see the doctor immediately for futher diagnosis.
