This method has limitations because some cells remain on the collection tool! Cells may overlap in multiple layers, and mucus and blood cells may obscure abnormal cells, making the results difficult to read and increasing the chance of errors.</li>
<li>SurePath Cervical Cancer Screening (BD SurePath Liquid-Base Pap test) 
This method uses new technology where the doctor uses a specially designed device to collect cells from the cervix, then detaches the head of the collection device into a container filled with a preservative solution. This allows the same sample to be tested up to 5 times. The collected cells are arranged in a thin layer without mucus or blood obscuring them, making the results easier and more accurate to read. It increases the detection rate of HSIL abnormal cells by up to 64.4% compared to the conventional method.</li>
