Health Promotion Center (Premium Health Check-up)

Annual health check-up is a process where doctors assess and analyze the physical condition of the service recipient by using health history information, physical examination, along with various laboratory tests. Generally, individuals aged 15 and above who have no underlying diseases or risks should undergo this check-up regularly at least once a year.

Health check-ups are very important because they help detect abnormalities or diseases at an early stage or uncover hidden diseases that do not show clear symptoms. This leads to effective and timely health care planning or treatment, increasing the chances of successful treatment, reducing disease progression to severe stages, and resulting in a better quality of life for the service recipient.

Who should get a health check-up?

    1. All service recipients aged 15 and above who wish to receive the service

    3. Those who have previously been found to have minor abnormalities or are at risk of developing any disease
    4. Those planning to get married or planning to have children

    2. Express the desired type of health check-up according to the service recipient’s needs or agreement
    3. Staff will guide the service recipient through all the health check-up steps
    4. After completing laboratory or other tests, the service recipient will wait for the results for about 1 1/2 hours, then prepare to see the doctor as the final step
    5. Meet the doctor for additional history taking, physical examination, interpretation of test results, and summary of all findings to understand the further care plan
    6. After meeting the health check-up doctor, if the service recipient wishes to see a specialist due to symptoms/abnormalities or if test results show disease or abnormalities, the examination room staff will coordinate the specialist appointment and escort the service recipient to see the specialist. If the results are normal or the service recipient does not wish to see or be treated by a specialist, they will wait to pay the service fee at the finance counter and complete the process
    7. For all test results, normally the health check-up department will prepare a booklet for the convenience of the service recipient to review later. It is expected that the results will be available within 1-2 weeks from the date of examination completion
