Prepare necessary equipment for wiping

- 1-2 basins for wiping, filled with warm water about ½ of the basin
- 2-4 small towels
- 1 large towel

- Prepare the place and turn off the air conditioner
- Remove the patient’s clothes
- Lay a towel under the area to be wiped to prevent the bed from getting wet
- Use a towel soaked in warm water, wrung out moderately, start wiping the face and rest it on the forehead and neck folds, repeat 3-4 times
- Wipe the chest and torso
- Wipe the arm farthest from the body, from the hand to the upper arm and armpit, wiping against the direction of hair growth to release heat, repeat 3-5 times
- Wipe the arm closest to the body in the same way; wipe the leg farthest from the body, from the foot to the thigh and groin 3-4 times, and rest the towel under the knee and groin
- Wipe the leg closest to the body in the same way
- Lie on the side and wipe the back
- From the sacrum up to the neck, repeat 3-4 times
