"Ultrasound" Get close to your baby from the womb

Expectant parents must be quite excited at the moment they find out there is a little one in the womb. Will the little one be healthy? Who will they look like? Will it be a girl or a boy? Only ultrasound can help speed up the answers for you.

Ultrasound is …

Ultrasound uses a 3.5 megahertz frequency wave, which is the same type of sound wave used in muscle physical therapy. Therefore, it is assured that it will not cause any harmful effects to the little one or the pregnant mother. Ultrasound is an examination to observe the changes in the little one to see how complete and strong they are, whether there are any abnormalities, and also to reveal the gender that many parents want to know.

3 Steps of Ultrasound Examination

  • 1st step : After registering the pregnancy with the doctor, the doctor will perform an ultrasound to check whether the pregnancy is in the uterus or outside the uterus, as well as to check the gestational age.
  • 2nd Step : The doctor will examine the completeness of the baby’s body both internally and externally. At this stage, the baby’s gender can be determined, usually from 12-16 weeks of gestation onwards.
  • 3rd Step : The doctor will re-examine the completeness of the baby’s body both internally and externally, confirm the baby’s gender, and inform the mother of the baby’s weight and length.

Know the Difference Between 3D and 4D Ultrasound

    1. 3D ultrasound is a still image capture, producing a relief-like image. It is used to check whether internal organs are functioning normally, whether there is a heart valve leak, whether the stomach is normal, and to observe brain structure. It can be performed from 28 weeks of gestation onwards.
    2. 4D ultrasound captures moving images, such as facial movements, arm raising, finger movements, and mouth movements. This type of ultrasound provides the clearest view of the organs and allows analysis and assessment of whether the little one in the womb is growing and developing appropriately. It can be performed from 28 weeks of gestation onwards.

Is Frequent Ultrasound Harmful?

Frequent ultrasound “is not harmful” because it uses a low frequency for examination. Therefore, it is assured that there will be no impact on the physical, mental, and brain development both before and after birth.

Now that you know this, expectant parents can hardly wait to see their little one. Hurry and bring the mother and little one for a check-up to assess the completeness of their body.
