Risk factors for breast cancer include using contraceptive pills for more than 5 years, having children later and not breastfeeding, having direct relatives diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age between 30-40 years old, living a Western lifestyle, irregular exercise, or eating fewer vegetables, etc.

In the past, it was believed that symptoms of breast cancer patients were similar, but in reality, the severity now depends on the division and spread of cancer cells as well as hormone receptors. Therefore, it means that treatment can be tailored to the patient&#8217;s symptoms without always using chemotherapy for everyone.

Breast cancer screening involves initially taking the patient&#8217;s history to identify any risk factors, followed by a physical examination by palpating the breast and reviewing imaging, which includes two methods:

<li>For those under 35 years old, ultrasound is used.</li>
<li>For those over 35 years old, mammogram and ultrasound are used.</li>
</ol>
If a lump is detected, a biopsy will be performed for further examination to determine if it is cancerous within one week. The stage of the disease will be known, and after all information is gathered, the doctor will decide whether the patient needs chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy.

</h2>
Patients have a chance of complete recovery, especially if detected early when it is not yet a lump but just a cluster of calcium and calcifications. Treatment may only involve removing these calcifications and taking hormone therapy to prevent recurrence and protect the other breast.
