<p>What causes preterm birth? Why is it especially important to be cautious during the 6-7 month pregnancy period (close to delivery)? Let’s find out.</p>

<li>Natural twin pregnancy or pregnancy assisted by medical technology.</li>
<li>Cervical abnormalities: short cervix or previous cervical surgery.</li>
<li>Low fetal weight.</li>
<li>Age of pregnancy being too young or too old, such as teenage pregnancy or pregnancy after age 35.</li>
<li>Health problems, illness, smoking, alcohol consumption.</li>

<p>Besides these causes, another frightening factor is <em><strong><span style="color: #00826a;">“stress”</span></strong></em> because increased hormone levels can lead to preterm birth. Mothers who are likely to deliver prematurely should relax, read books or meditate, get 8-10 hours of full rest, eat a balanced diet with all five food groups, and prepare for preterm delivery accordingly.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #00826a;">Prepare documents to prevent emergencies. What should be prepared?</span></h2>

<li>Important documents: ID card, passport, antenatal care book, social security, life insurance, house registration—all kept together and ready to take to the hospital.</li>
<li>Emergency phone numbers: 191, Narenthorn Rescue Center 1669, JS100, 1137, the hospital where you receive antenatal care, obstetrician’s number, and contacts of relatives or siblings who are ready to assist.</li>
<li>If amniotic fluid starts leaking from the vagina, prepare to go to the hospital immediately. If traveling alone, ask for help.</li>

<p>Preparing for emergency delivery is very important for mothers close to delivery. Choose a hospital closest to your residence to minimize risks to both the baby and mother. It is best to prepare early to prevent emergencies.</p>
