<p><span style="font-size: small;">         <strong>  A common condition among working-age people like us </strong>is undoubtedly <strong>neck pain and back pain</strong>. Sitting still for long hours and work-related stress are some of the causes that can lead to inflammation in the neck and back. Our guest today is no exception. <strong>Khun Sineenat Sapngam</strong>, 25 years old, shared with us that due to her regular job requiring her to sit in front of a computer for many hours daily, for months and years, she began to experience pain in the upper neck, shoulders, and shoulder blades, especially when sitting or driving for long periods. At first, she thought it was nothing serious, probably muscle inflammation, so she endured it. When in pain, she would use topical pain relief ointments and massage. She had visited other doctors who also said it was muscle inflammation and prescribed medication, which improved the symptoms temporarily, but the pain returned and eventually worsened.</span></p>
<p>Around early 2012, <strong>she was fortunate to meet Dr. Jiradet</strong> and shared her symptoms and consulted on how to treat them. According to Khun Sineenat’s account and the doctor’s examination by pressing on the shoulder and shoulder blade areas, a hard lump was found. The doctor then told her that she had chronic neck pain, a condition she never thought of as a disease. <strong>The doctor recommended a new innovative treatment</strong> for neck pain that does not require surgery and takes a short time. This treatment uses special frequency waves to interfere with the nerve signals that transmit pain to the brain, relieving pain in the affected area. This procedure is called Radiofrequency Rhizotomy or RF. She was advised to try this treatment and was given information to read before making a decision. After reviewing the information, she decided to undergo the treatment.</p>
<p>At first, she admitted to being very scared in the operating room, imagining all sorts of painful scenarios. However, the reality was nothing like she feared. <strong>It only hurt a little and was completed quickly</strong>. After the procedure, she felt stiffness in the neck and could not turn her head left or right, but these symptoms disappeared the next morning. Moreover, the neck and shoulder blade pain completely vanished. She also received good advice from the doctor on how to take care of herself to prevent recurrence of the condition.</p>
