Phyathai Nawamin Hospital recognizes the importance of occupational health and environmental medicine in the hospital as a standard, considering responsibility towards personnel, society, the environment, and the community. Therefore, a policy is established as a guideline for practice with the objective to demonstrate the organization&#8217;s commitment to providing occupational health and environmental services in the hospital, society, environment, and community by creating and maintaining a management system that eliminates various risks and hazards for both personnel and all levels of patients, including patient relatives and visitors as follows:
<ol>
<li>The hospital prioritizes health and safety at work as the responsibility of every employee at all levels within the organization to cooperate in ensuring safety.</li>
<li>All personnel, including contracted company staff working in the hospital, must prioritize their own health and safety, their colleagues, and service recipients, and strictly adhere to policies and guidelines.</li>
<li>Supervisors at all levels must act as good role models in health and safety and oversee their staff while strictly monitoring compliance with policies.</li>
<li>The Occupational Health Management team is assigned to operate under a defined plan focusing on proactive management in all hospital areas and comply with relevant laws and regulations to ensure maximum safety for service recipients, employees, and stakeholders.</li>
<li>All departments are required to conduct risk identification and assessment covering all hospital areas at least once a year (FMS, Risk Assessment), analyze and prioritize identified risks, and develop operational plans with regular monitoring of implementation results.</li>
<li>The hospital arranges for safety subcommittee inspections in all hospital areas to identify risks, implement preventive and corrective actions, and plan education for involved parties.</li>
<li>The hospital promotes a safe environment by controlling and preventing hazards such as fire, chemicals, electricity, machinery, occupational diseases, and other dangers that may affect the health of both employees and service recipients.</li>
<li>The hospital supports and encourages all employees to participate in activities and provide feedback on occupational health and safety for continuous development.</li>
<li>The hospital ensures monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of occupational health and safety policy implementation to maintain effective and continuous practice.</li>
