On September 23, 2024, Phyathai Nawamin Hospital received the first prize for being a model healthcare facility in waste management in the comprehensive waste separation project across 50 districts for the year 2024. The award ceremony was held at the Irawat Pattana Building, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Hall, as part of a project organized by Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to promote environmental conservation and waste management in various agencies.

Led by Ms. Sutita Tomanatham, Director of Administration at Phyathai Nawamin Hospital, who represented the hospital to receive the award from Mr. Somboon Homnan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, who presented the certificate and award to Phyathai Nawamin Hospital for the comprehensive waste separation project across 50 districts for the year 2024. The team and staff involved in developing waste management within the hospital were also present as witnesses at the award ceremony.
