Who should receive Trans PRK?

Trans PRK is a correction for eye problems such as short-sighted, long-sighted and astigmatic; this treatment method is similar to lasik but it is different because of the use of excimer laser for the epithelium removal and the cornea’s curve adjustment provided for patients in one time. The trans PRK comes with technology called Schwind Amaris or “No-touch Treatment” means the eyes remain untouched by instruments; there are no eye locking or any touching given because the only thing applied during procedure is laser which is different from former method of PRK that requires a tool for cornea removal. Moreover, surgical wound heals fast and a process lowers the risk for eye infection as well.

Who can undergo Trans PRK ?
