Popular Diseases… of Working Age People

“Working age” is the period when many people try to build a stable foundation, often neglecting health care. Combined with a fast-paced lifestyle and not being particular about food choices, as well as insufficient rest, it causes the body to deteriorate and makes it easy to develop various diseases.

The more you neglect… the more diseases come knocking

Many people tend to think that while they are still young and strong, they can live life to the fullest without caution, which can lead to easier development of various diseases such as:

  • Dyspepsia (Dyspepsia)
This disease often results from stress, whether from work, finances, or family problems. When stressed, the autonomic nervous system stimulates the stomach to secrete more digestive juices than usual, causing irritation and leading to gastritis.
  • Hypertension (Hypertension)
is one of the top silent threats to working-age people. Lack of sufficient rest, heavy workload, accumulated stress, and lack of exercise contribute to high blood pressure, which is a major cause of stroke, paralysis, and kidney failure.
  • Office Syndrome (Myofascial Pain Syndrome)
is well known among office workers because it results from sitting and working all day with little change in posture. This causes muscle tension and inflammation, leading to pain in various parts of the body such as the back, shoulders, neck, and upper back, as well as eye pain and orbital pain from prolonged computer screen exposure.
  • Myocardial Infarction (Myocardial Infarction)
The lifestyle of working-age people who rush, regularly eat fast food, work hard, and do not allocate time for exercise are factors that increase the risk of heart disease or coronary artery disease in this age group.
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)
Working against time may leave little opportunity to choose proper meals daily. Fried and fatty foods commonly available become the main choice for working people. Eating irregularly or going to bed immediately after eating increases the risk of acid reflux disease.
  • Cystitis (Cystitis)
is another common disease among working-age people. The main cause is holding urine for too long. Doing this regularly can lead to bladder inflammation.

Don’t overwork… until your health deteriorates We should live a balanced life, work diligently, get enough rest, exercise fully, and take the best care of our health. Additionally, regular health check-ups at least once a year are recommended. With these steps, living a healthy life is not difficult.
