Direct Anterior Approach surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique which perform incision on the front of the hip through horizontal cut (called Bikini Line) without detaching any muscles. Therefore this technique will result in quicker recovery when comparing to a vertical cut of Direct Anterior Approach. Morever with this new technique, patients neither receive a blood nor loose blood during the operation. As a result, they will get less pain and more normal function after hip replacement. Within a couple days after surgery, the patients are allowed to go back home and return to their normal daily activities with a reduced risk of dislocation. This technique is different from the traditional hip replacement surgery which perform incision on the back and side of the hip through vertical cut. the latter technique has to detach the muscle which causes pain after surgery and prolongs the time to fully recover by month or even years. Also the risk of hip dislocation is increased.
Expertise, Experience and Teamwork
Our operating room are full of multidisciplinary teamwork, which consists of surgeon, radiologist, anesthesiologist, nurse, and radiation technician who able to give an accurate diagnosis includes treatment during surgery at the same time. Make a procedure safe, prevent an infection by lamina air flow method inside a single ventilated operating room.
The Flexmove x-ray imaging technology which offers 360-degree imaging provides doctors more effective surgery for patients and immediately receive a high quality of radiographic imaging during surgery. The equipment in the operating room is designed to move easily without interfering in operation. For an operation bed can be adjusted. It helps to make the surgery more selective. The factors mentioned above. All of these affect the quality of long-term postoperative life of patients.
