According to survey results… up to 5.1 million men aged 40-59 experience symptoms of menopause or testosterone deficiency, with 76% resulting from a decrease in the androgen hormone, nearly 50% caused by stress, 33% having prostate enlargement issues, 32% experiencing erectile dysfunction, 28% having a somewhat overweight figure, and 4% having obesity problems*

Warning signs… when entering testosterone deficiency

When suddenly men start feeling easily fatigued, restless, irritable, lethargic, depressed, have decreased concentration, short-term memory decline, hot flashes, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, insomnia, reduced sexual interest, erectile dysfunction, and decreased ejaculation both in volume and frequency, it should not be overlooked!!! Because these are signs of entering a state of low testosterone levels.

What factors can cause testosterone deficiency??

Besides age… which is an indicator of declining testosterone, overworking, lack of rest, stress, anxiety, alcohol consumption, smoking, and chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension all accelerate the onset of testosterone deficiency in men faster than normal.

Recognize before seeing a doctor for treatment

When abnormal symptoms and actual hormone deficiency are found, consultation with an endocrinologist is recommended for treatment with hormone replacement therapy, which can be administered orally, by intramuscular injection, or transdermally under the supervision of a knowledgeable doctor with close follow-up.

Self-care… when entering “testosterone deficiency”

When reaching this stage of life change… patients should know and understand themselves, starting with getting enough sleep, at least 6 – 8 hours per day, eating nutritious food according to dietary principles, reducing fatty foods, and increasing the intake of vegetables and fruits. Additionally, maintaining a positive outlook, reducing stress, exercising regularly, quitting smoking and alcohol are important. The key is living correctly and taking good care of the body, which helps delay or slow down problems caused by male menopause.

Because most men are still unaware that their bodies undergo hormonal changes as well, they often think that hormone deficiency symptoms only occur in women and feel embarrassed, even though this condition should not be ignored… they should see a doctor to plan treatment accordingly.
