International Insurance Coverage
Hassle-free healthcare with your overseas insurance.
At Phyathai 2 Hospital, we welcome international patients with overseas health or travel insurance. Our International Correspondence Team will assist in coordinating with your insurance provider and securing a Guarantee of Payment whenever possible.
The necessary documents for international insurance patients include:
- Passport and a copy of your passport with your signature.
- Current Insurance Card or Certificate.
- A Copy of Your Insurance Policy.
- Additional Documents that may be required by your insurance company.
Out-Patient (OPD) Visits
- You can walk in for treatment and advise our staff of your insurance coverage.
- Some insurance providers may require pre-authorization before OPD services.
- If direct billing is not available, you may be required to pay first and apply for reimbursement later.
In-Patient (IPD) Admissions / Surgery
For planned admissions or surgical procedures, we recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to confirm coverage.
If needed, we will assist in providing medical documents for approval prior to admission to ensure a smooth and fast process.
Travel Insurance
We also accept travel insurance for tourists. In addition to the documents above, please bring:
- Arrival/departure record to verify travel dates
- A Copy of YourTravel Insurance Policy
Important Notes
- The hospital canproceedwith direct billing only after receiving Guarantee of Payment.
- Expenses not covered by your insurance policy must be paid by the patient.
- Coverage may vary depending on your insurance provider, plan type, deductibles, co-insurance, and pre-existing conditions.
