We cannot deny a fact that patients usually concern about pain and size of scar happened after procedure. For a traditional abdominal open surgery approach, these problems are inevitable. Conversely, the Minimally Invasive Surgery approach (MIS) can prevent them using small tools and camera during a procedure, the tools are inserted into the body for that reason, core of disease or a cause can be treated directly. This process is less painful than a previous method which does not affect other organs. In addition, the most important thing is the MIS only causes small incision wound after surgery. Moreover, some diseases treated by MIS do not require the inserting of surgical camera through the skin, therefore, it does not cause any mark on external skin as well.

What is Minimally Invasive Surgery?

The Minimally Invasive Surgery is a surgical innovation that is performed by a doctor. A procedure includes drilling small holes, only 3-4 spots depends on type of diseases, size of 1- 2 cm. Doctor will insert medical equipment and camera while performing. Moreover, location of the diseases must be seen through a monitor during an operation for the best result and precision while other organs are slightly impacted by it.

Small Surgical Wound and Less Pain

Generally, the MIS has the same goal with the traditional method which is to detect some disorders of organs and remove them. Moreover, using of surgical camera gives more advantages such as small size of wound, less pain and fast recovery. Chances of wound infection, mark, fascia in the abdomen and complications such as urinary tract infections or lung infection are lowered by the procedure as well.

More details of procedure and accuracy

The doctor requires high magnification camera that helps showing details of internal organs where treatment must be given including location of key organs and vessels next to an operative area. Furthermore, the process is more accurate. Therefore, result of the treatment must be better.

Although, MIS has more benefits than an original approach, however, the operation depends on type of diseases and physical condition of each patient individually; to receive the MIS, decision must be made by specialized doctor only.
