Who is suitable for robotic-assisted knee replacement?

Robotic-assisted total knee replacement is recommended for patients with the following conditions:

• Elderly patients
• Severe knee pain affecting quality of life
• Difficulty performing daily activities
• Limited ability to bend or straighten the knee, even without pain
• Difficulty walking up and down stairs, requiring assistance
• Symptoms not improved with conservative treatments
• Severe bow-legged deformity
• Stiff knee with limited mobility
• Knee flexion less than 90 degrees

When should you consider knee replacement surgery?

Surgery is recommended when knee pain becomes severe enough to reduce quality of life, limit daily activities, restrict joint movement, and when other treatments no longer provide relief.
