MRI 3 Tesla
MRI is an imaging device used for disease diagnosis by utilizing the magnetic properties of hydrogen atoms within the body under a magnetic field. The MRI machine can detect abnormalities in various organs of the body from the early stages of disease, such as
- Brain
- Spinal cord
- Abdominal organs, pelvic organs, and female breasts
- Bile ducts and gallbladder examination (MRCP)
- Examination of the spine, muscular system, bones, and joints
- Examination of arteries and veins of various organs (MRA, MRV)
- Special examinations such as
- MR Spectroscopy used to detect biochemical substances in tissues. It can differentiate tumors from normal tissue
- Function MRI is an examination to observe organ function. It is used to assess the function of the motor cortex controlling muscle movement, the sensory cortex, and the memory and language centers
- Perfusion is an examination to observe the inflow and outflow of contrast agents in tissues. It measures the amount of blood supplying the brain and can distinguish whether that brain area is dead or suffering from insufficient blood supply and still salvageable in the latter case. Diffusion is an examination to observe the movement of water molecules in tissues. It can detect early-stage brain ischemia better and faster than other methods
