Children that know to speak bad words before leading to imitating of such behavior it mainly inspired by what they see around for example family, neighbor, school or even television which this behavior does it only create a bad image to children but it also includes a family.
How to prevent your child from speaking bad words

- Family members especially parents should be a good example for them speaking and communicating between each other with appropriate polite words to comprise positive environement around them.

- If parents let their children spend time using a device where it contains many types of contents then a program that helps control or screen for inappropriate contents to prevent all aggressiveness and violence from the media showing is required; moreover, parents should watch it with kids and when seeing that there is inappropriate content they have to talk and clarify to the child that this is a bad behavior which is not allowed to follow at all.

- When the child starts speaking rough words as a parent or guidance you should ask him/her where they hear that words to ensure whether your kids really know its meaning and if you find out they have no clue then it is necessary to explain and teach them not to repeat and use the word again.

- Describe the consequences that what will happen if they start saying the words. For example “Honey ! if you say this word again mom and dad will not talk to you and friends will not play with you too ”

- There should be a house or family rule set for a discipline such as when the child speaks rough words you may deduct their money for a snack, refrain them from watching TV or abstain them from traveling, etc.

- Compliment them when you hear they speak with words that are polite and nice.
- In case your kids are adolescents and start saying bad words you can allow them to do so as long as it is not in public please make sure they only speak it to a group of friends but not to people in a house including other people in public.
